The Story of EU 4: New Terra is entirely new and has its own introduction. Chapter One: New Terra introduces you to the cast of characters, the introduction to New Terra, and the timeline. Chapter Two: The New Covenant is the in-depth introduction to the setting and the world of EU 4. Chapter Three: New Terrain is a compelling piece of fiction that tells you how the New Covenant came to be and what its consequences are.

The Extended Timeline mod is only compatible with EU IV. If you're planning on playing EU IV: Extended Timeline, make sure you have the full game installed before downloading the mod. As well, the mod will not be compatible with EU IV: Glory of Rome.

Because of its size, we strongly suggest you have the mod installed before starting EU IV: Extended Timeline, as you will most likely need to spend some time downloading and installing the mod.

Even though the detailed RTS mechanics can be daunting at first, other players will appreciate the novel gameplay as much as the new timeline. The game is very easy to pick up and the interface is intuitive enough that new players shouldn't have any trouble getting up to speed. On top of that, the mod does a lot of things right even though it's only in the Alpha stage.
