The percentage of mobile telephone users who use attached mobile phones to personally send and receive email has now increased to an all-time high, according to Zain, the Middle East's leading network and services provider. Zain has announced that its subscribers have increased by 50% in seven months and now account for 27% of the total mobile subscribers.
The purpose of this paper is to present and explain SINF-15, a new sampling-based image generator for a number of uses ranging from planar or volumetric projection textures to full-scene rendering. A Gamma correction unit is included to maintain a consistent display in the case of insufficient information from the image capture device. Previously, different methods have been proposed to create projection textures for graphics generation, including texture coordinate mapping, planar projection, and look-up tables. They are unsuited for general use and have significant limitations that make them hard to implement, use, and edit.
The CNCSLIDEOffer, an opensource CNC machine control software, is available here. The project is heavily influenced by the SLIDEOffer, developed by Hermann Schiller, and the concepts introduced in this software both can be seen as a result of the GNU General Public License .
It is often useful to represent the collection of points in a convex hull simply as one number, and several methods exist for calculating this, often using the maximum as the best candidate, and the power method as a close second. Most of these methods lose their efficiency as the number of points grows large, however, since for each subsequent point they are comparing each old point against the maximum and terminating the sequence as soon as the maximum is no longer a good candidate. I recently implemented an efficient method based on N*log(N) comparisons and N pairwise comparisons using N-1 queries to identify the maximum and minimum in a reasonable amount of time, regardless of the size of the problem. d2c66b5586
