Trainz Railroad Simulator 2006 is a 3D railroad simulator. The game comes with a series of ingame workshops to teach you all the basics of riding trains and everything around that. For players already familiar with trains or who have finished the workshops there are 21 interactive scenarios that can be played. Scenarios range from delivering cargo in time to transporting passengers in a tight time schedule. For the more creative players there is an atelier in which you can create your own maps and scenarios. The game comes with some 150 different locomotives, and over 7500 objects to place in your maps. Through an online portal many more objects can be downloaded for use ingame. You can control the game both in a simulation mode and a simplified mode. In the simulation mode you have full control of your train, but in the simplified mode some procedures have been simplified or automated.
Trainz railway simulator 2006 does not stand out from similar projects in a similar genre. This is where the concept that players are already familiar comes in, where you have to control a locomotive that moves from point A to point B. In some situations the driving circumstances may change, but in general the situation remains monotonous and leisurely. The only thing that diversifies the scene is the presence of three game modes.
TRS2006 significantly enhances the driving experience with improvements to the physics engine, adding to the challenge of keeping your train performing efficiently. With thousands of items available for free on Auran s Download Station including hundreds of locomotives and extra routes, TRS2006 includes a new asset management utility, making it easier for users to access and organize their content.
Trainz Railroad Simulator 2006 (aka Trainz Railway Simulator 2006) is the latest edition of the immensely popular series of simulators, in turn, created by Auran since 2001. In this position here will find not only veterans of the previous part, but also newcomers, for which the authors have prepared a variety of tutorials to familiarize yourself with the rules prior to the commencement of the appropriate fun.
Trainz Railroad Simulator 2006 (known as TRS2006 or Trainz Railway Simulator 2006 in the United Kingdom) is a train simulation game developed by Auran Games Pty Ltd. and published by Merscom LLC. The game is a part of the Trainz franchise and was released on February 2, 2006 for Microsoft Windows.

Erste Demo (Driver Challenge) zu Trainz Railroad Simulator 2006IntroductionTRS2006 is the result of a collaboration between Auran Games, the software developer behind Trainz, and members of the Trainz community. Much of the new content in TRS2006 has been created by these community members in their spare time and has been kindly donated for your enjoyment. There are many thousands of hours of effort spent in researching, modelling, texturing and developing routes and there is no doubt that without their support and tireless efforts, Trainz would not be the product it is today.Whether you are a veteran Trainz fan, or a new user, you will discover that what you have received inside your TRS2006 box is only the beginning of the experience. At the time of writing, there are over 40,000 additional items available for download from the official Trainz Download Station. There will be many more items released and many of the existing items will be updated to include support for the new interactive objects.Due to the extensible nature of the Trainz scripting system, users with a few programming skills can create their own Rules and Driver Commands using TrainzScript. These can then be made available for use by the general public, so there really is no limit to the types of things that can be achieved in the future.Make sure you check out the ingame Trainz Exchange and visit www.railroadsimulator.com to discover the latest updates and information.Minimum System RequirementsPentium IV 1.5Ghz (or equivalent)512 MB RAM64 MB 3D Graphics Card (NVIDIA GeForce or equivalent)DirectX 9.0 or higherApproximately 4GB of HDD SpaceUsable settings:800x600 display resolution32 bit color depthNo shadows, low draw distance, low draw detail, low train detail.

The simulators consist of route and session editors called Surveyor, and the Driver module, that loads a route and lets the player operate and watch the trains run, either in \"DCC\" mode, which simulates a bare-bones Digital Command Control (DCC) system for the simple stop-and-go of a basic model railway, or \"CAB\" mode, which simulates real-world physics and adds working cab controls.
The simulators are supported by a large library of freeware assets which can be downloaded from the N3V servers, referred to as Download Station (DLS). Unless users purchase a First Class Ticket with real money, download speeds for the DLS (both in Content Manager and directly through File Transfer Protocol on the Trainz website) are throttled, which tends to be a point of contention in the Trainz community. PaintShed is a simple program for aiding and easing the process of 'reskinning' traincars, altering their livery, by recoloring and adding new heraldry to Trainz locomotives and other rolling stock. The Content Manager (CM) module is a Windows program that allows management of the in-game database files. It was renamed under the name of Content Manager Plus (CMP) in TRS2006.
Trainz Railway Simulator 2006 (known as Trainz Railroad Simulator 2006 in the USA), or TRS2006, was a transitional release, incorporating the stable Auran JET based TRS2004 GUI modules with only some graphics improvements, but introducing the data base manager Content Manager Plus (CMP) as a new core technology. ContentManager.exe (now called just CM) combines data base management, and secure FTP upload and download facilities and special user definable filters all in one integrated system. By defining a good filter, the user could 'selectively not see' the clutter of regional items in the Surveyor asset selection menus saving user time when world building. This important filtering feature was further improved in Trainz 2009, becoming far more powerful and easier to use. In addition to these improvements, several new routes were included, such as Hawes Junction (representing a small section of the Settle and Carlisle Railway and serving as a demo for TC3), Toronto Rail Lands 1954 (representing Toronto's sprawling railyard in 1954), and Marias Pass Approach (representing the BNSF Marias Pass line between Shelby, Montana and Cut Bank, Montana and serving as a demo for the full Marias Pass payware route). TRS2006 was published in September 2005, and the base release with its single service pack formed the core of the regional releases (most are joint ventures with 'Trainz Partners' combining payware content provider's products with the base Trainz software) over the next four years until the introduction of new technologies in TC3 and TRS2009. In Germany, it was published by Bluesky-Interactive, as ProTrain Perfect.[citation needed]
The content from Trainz Classics 1 and 2 were later released as built-content for TS2009 and TS2010, and can be downloaded from the DLS for all future games. Trainz Classics 3 was re-released as an expansion pack for all subsequent games as the Settle & Carlisle Route, with extra content added from the original release (some of the Mark 1 coaches in BR Blue were also included by default in these versions due to being used in the consists of trains on the built-in East Coast Main Line routes).
My First Trainz Set was designed for the younger generation who do not want to worry about realism or management when playing the Trainz game. The game features 4 locations to lay track in that are based on rooms throughout a house, such as a bedroom or kitchen. The user has the ability to place down small toy-like objects in the replacement of buildings and scenery. However, its graphical quality of the trains, track, and objects is still very much like that of the standard Trainz simulator games. Controls are also far more simplified. The game was also ported to Android devices. 153554b96e
